My passion is designing for content-driven projects—primarily in the publishing and cultural institution sphere. I am an assistant professor at Portland State University, where I teach typography, page layout, and studio design classes. More recently, my interest in designing for content-driven projects has lead me to direct and produce a documentary film—Graphic Means: A History of Graphic Design Production. Graphic Means premiered on April 15th, 2017. It is now touring nationally and internationally. For information on bringing it to your town, please feel free to get in touch!

I graduated from San Francisco State University, with a BA in Graphic Design, and from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (UAL, London), with a MA in Communication Design.
